Market Resolution
Follow a market from its closing criteria to final settlement
Resolution determines which outcome won. The market rules define the criteria and source; the oracle workflow proposes, reviews, and finalizes the result.
Resolution stages
| Stage | What it means |
|---|---|
| Trading ends | The event reaches the time or condition defined in the rules |
| Outcome proposed | The oracle receives an initial result |
| Dispute window / review | The result may be challenged or receive additional review |
| Final | The winning outcome is fixed and eligible positions become redeemable |
On Oriclay, these stages appear in the timeline on the market page. If a dispute or final review applies, its status and available action appear there as well.
Payout after resolution
- Each winning share redeems for $1.00.
- Each losing share redeems for $0.00.
- Your claim becomes available only after the result is final.
The rules control the result
Resolve a market from its written criteria and named source—not from the title, common interpretation, or an outcome on another platform.
What to do
- Read the resolution rules before trading.
- Monitor the market timeline after trading ends.
- If the result is disputed, wait for the final review.
- Claim the winning position when the claim action appears.
